Good to hear the results, maybe they're onto something here.

My dealer told me that they were only getting one pair per week. I was the fourth one to get them last week. I have my set aside until I need them. The original ones are doing fine for now.

I talked to a engineer in upper wi. last week saw him on the trail, he said on there testing they were getting over 4000 miles per set in average conditions, now thats cool. He said they were the real deal.

...And it only took 9 years to get a decent set of sliders!

Re: hyfax
X2 on the PP offset kit. A cheaper alternative to these slides.

Sorry. Pioneer Performance makes a kit that consists of new mount for the stock wheels that lowers them down. The mounts are also double bolted to be stronger. Last I checked the kit was under 100 bucks. I still have wear at the bend, but it goes to a point and then stops. The rest of the slides have very minimal wear at all after a couple thousand miles.

one of my friends that i ride with has an 07 apex gt he didnt even know that the slides needed replacing till they fell apart he had 4700 on his sled bone stock original slides. lucky we seen it and he got them changed before any real damage to the rails. i think the slides wear to the point of the wheels and stay there for a long time so the offset kit would give you a new point that the inital wear would stop and stay for awhile so i see why people like it. most people like to see some space left before the wear line. on my 07 i changed them every 2 years just to be safe some where between 2700 to 3500 miles.

anyone know a dealer that has the sliders in stock
my dealer up here in canada says he cant get them till next year, going on a big trip up north in a couple of weeks, wouldnt mind taking a set of sliders with me just in case I run into problems.
