Hey guys...
I had some issues with my 06 RTX seat....lots of guys like me had the probs with the material lumping up after long rides and getting huge creases in it ect ect.....
my dealer warrenteed my cover and I asked for an 07 RTX cover...i hated the silver stripes from the get go....
one thing we noticed when the seat cover came in...the 07 rtx has some changes in the foam...its definitely stiffer then 06 but yammie must have decided to change some things with the cover near the back....
if youve seen one you cans see a crease/seem near back just infront of the trunk...yammie decided to install straps which HOLD that new SEEM down into the foam...so there is no more probs with the seat cover going back into shape after a long ride...it holds it much better now...
I had my upholstery guy install it,hes done alot of seats for me in past and he knew exactly why yammie did this change....he sees alot of this.
here are some pics of my 06 rtx with 07 seat cover.

There are some good ones posted earlier in this post you can get on line as well. I love the look- big difference.
Thanks for looking all the same! Have a good one.

Does any have the color code number for yamaha blue? May just do mine all black also.
Rod, Not sure the code, but you may check with your dealer to see if they can get you that code your looking for. Not so sure you will find excatly that color in a dye, so you may be better off going black. Good luck bud...BBY

My seat cover is all stretched out too. I have the extended waranty but wasn't sure if it would be covered. Sounds like they just gave you a new cover? Is that it or did they send out a whole seat assembly. Any key phrases to use when trying to get this covered.
Thanks

Anybody know how to get this paint off? I used it on my Nytro and it rubs off & this year with all my new mods i would rather have the color back.
