I ordered a EVAC kit from DYNAREX because I live in an area that does not have an autoparts store. I have to say that he put together a very nice cleanly made EVAC kit that looks like it came from Yamaha. Thanks DYNAREX for the fast service and nice job. Price was reasonable for me. If you are running ECP filters then you must do the EVAC kit as well to appreciate the full potential of the ECP filters.

with the evac kit on and trail riding ,how much moisture are you guys getting in the drain line? i made my drain about 6 inches long and in 140 miles i checked it twice and both times it had about a 2 tablespoons of the milky white stuff, was about30-35 deg and just normal riding,i didnt think i would find this much but im glad i checked it better to dump it on the ground than to pull it into the filters i guess, let me know what you guys are getting for amount of moisture if this is normal thanks

I used a flush T with a screw on cap from a coolant flush kit. My buddy needed gas about every 70 miles so I would empty my cap instead of top off :D and couldn't believe how much milky-yellow water there was each time

I really don't think so. That white milky oily stuff people are seeing in the drain of the EVAC is a product of crankcase condensation in my opinion. Heck you can drain it while the sled is warming. I have not seen very much of this stuff so it's not a concern to me. You have to ask yourself, what happened to that same stuff before the EVAC. I venture to say it was sucked in by the carbs and burned off. I guess you could install some sort of inline one way ball chack valve so when the engine is not drawing iar it will open and drain.

ITRIED SEVERAL ONE WAY VALVES IN THIS KIT BEFORE HAND AND THEY ALL FREEZE UP-
THE MOISTURE IS MAINLY PRODUCED AS THE ENGINE IS WARMING UP AND IS A "PANCAKE BATTER" OF OIL AND WATER-
BEFORE THE KIT IT WOULD BE DRAWN INTO THE CARB A LITTLE BUT MOST OF IT WOULD DRAIN BACK INTO THE CRANKCASE!-SOME WOULD COLLECT IN THE PLASTIC SEPERATOR AND FREEZE UP ONLY LATER TO THAW OUT -THIS IS WHY THE ENGINE NEEDS TO RUN HOT ENOUGH TO BOIL THIS MOISTURE THATS IN THE CRANKCASE

Dynarex, what did you end up using for the water catch T? Did you end using the 3/4 " T Cubby used (Help product part#47118) or did you use something differently? The reason I am asking is that I am going to use the same flush T that Mighty used but after reading these post about how much water is building up, I wonder if the flush T is sufficient in size (more specifically, in the amount of water it can retain). From what I saw in Cubby's pic, when he used the 47118 3/4" T in conjunction with a longer hose, his water catch is able to retain more water than what the flush T might be able to hold. If you did use this 47118 T, would you be able to pick one up and send to me since I am unable to order the 47118? At the two auto parts store I had to go to get all the other stuff, they are not able to order this part. Or if you used something else, maybe I could just order that T instead. If you are, let me know the cost (part and shipping cost).

Mighty, do you feel the flush T is sufficient in size for the amount of water it can hold? I just don't want to have to stop every 70-80 miles and empty it. If I can get a T that will allow me to have a longer water catch, then I should be able to only have to worry about draining it, say after each ride (150-300 mile rides).

Yo, robX-1. Private message me your name and address and I will send you a 47118 tee. I am leaving right now to see if I can find another one for ya. It's the least I can do for another brother on this forum seeing as how much this forum has helped me.------ Cubby

Hey Cubby, you wouldn't want to part with the other 47118 tee would ya ??
I'm having the same trouble in finding it. No problem with the other parts. Roadrunner
