Would all of this change at all if the sled is on a stans vs the track on the ground with the sled's weight on it?

So Frank got back to me. The short part of it is that it's normal not to feel any clicks until about halfway, he told me to crank it all the way up and then back of 25 clicks. He did come thru and I'm happy that my shock ain't blown!
Thanks for the help.

My experience has always been that after a fresh rebuild the clicks are heard/felt all the way up not beginning at the half way point.
I'm not the expert... Frank is... but that does not sound correct to me.

Mine clicks all the way up and down, just thought I should test mine to check after reading this. I still have original charge and valving. I feel I should be good for this year. Hope to get all front and rears done for next year.
Thanks for the riminder!

Try it with the sled on the ground! Give it a good push on the back bumper then try finding all your clicks!

im pretty sure mine is the same way, i havent checked it since the beginning of last season when I serviced the skid. but if I remember right I couldnt ever feel any clicks. i'll try it again and check really close. it had about 3000 miles or less on it last i checked it. have about 4000 miles on it now. it rides great though, very smooth and comfortable on the trails. maybe it is blown, maybe not? if I pull the shock do I unplug the electrical connection at the top/front of the shock?

When I pulled my skid thats the connection I unplugued, while I was there I also head shrinked the cable comming out of the shock just to give it more protection.

I checked mine a little closer. I
Backed it all the way out, counter clockwise
Then started Turning it. It then Began to click after a
Few turns. Also it helped to push down on the skid every now and then before turning the clicker. I dont know if doing that resets something in the shock or what.

On the rear electric ohlins, clock wise is hard, conterclockwise is soft for rebound. After a revalve, the 30 clicks is gone and turns into around 10 clicks available with a 6.1 kg spring fully loaded. At least that is my experience with around 3 diferent ones that I have had re built.
Correct me if you think I am wrong.

Id say i have about 10 clicks as well. The previous owner had a big boy spring installed so i guess its possible he had the shock revalved at that time.
