Well me and my son got our filters, our sleds are about dead even without the filters. So we installed them on 1 RX1 and not the other so we could see a difference.....and there was a big diference. The sled with the filters now beats me by about 8 sleds lenghts or more. Even if I get the whole shot he walks by me easily...I'm just letting Freddie know I said thanks alot they work like he said they would. I quess you know I'm installing mine tommorrow night... Thanks again Freddie it made these sleds rock....

Before you install your set can you do a top end run stock and then again with the filters? I hit a wall at 100 with mine and when I went back to stock I breezed right past 100. I'm totally baffled.

Well we have ours geared down 1 tooth and last night we were hitting 114 in 1/2 mile with the filters. It shouldn't affect your top end at all.

Than you for the thank you RX1Ton.
I agree with your remark about the top end. I have had these on radar walking away from airbox equipped sleds under the same snow/ice conditions. We saw 130 MPH indicated on the speedo and 118 on radar for the best runs.
This might be a bit premature but I am noticing that the ones that are complaining the most about lost top end speed are also the ones that seem to be pushing the most oil from the crankcase vent breather. I will continue to research this and if anything significant (other than individual tuning) come up. I will post my remarks.
It is clear also that with the increase of power that these kits provide that some of you worried about top end should be gearing higher and then retesting out in the field. If your speed does not improve, then your problem is obviously elsewhere meaning that there is a "governer" somewhere in the sled disallowing it to respond to the changes made.
Nice to know though that the kits are doing exactly as advertised. Thanks again for the props.
