Good to hear there are more guys around that have or do still work on jet engines,i think we still have a GE jet engine plant here in Bangor Maine. I am now retired from Pratt, did it jan 15th 2018 after 34 years and two major heart valve replacements, lets just say it was time lol. Hi brother, were you a pilot or mechanic. Ya if i had started at pratt in 79 when they came up to Maine,i to would have had 40 years in,prior to building jet engine parts,i was working for a company out of Waltham Mass, they were on the Charles river for a very long time, building industrial button hole sewing machines, they moved to Maine in 74 to break the Union,as did Pratt and Whitney. They were called The Reece corperation.Cool.
I work on GE and Rolls Royce engines.
