For me, 87 octane is what is only available at some pumps in northern Maine from time to time. I also don't want to have to go nuts with reclutching the thing or install an aftermarket exhaust (because Maine wardens have checked every time I've been stopped).

I run ecotrail when I'm on Northern trips and only run 87. No issues.

Same here, only stock winder i have ever rode is my sons 17 SE bone stock except for skis,it does go good though stock, just be careful w/super tunes,as they may stress the clutches and drivetrain worse, that being said,Ecotrail or PT SM would be the route to take if worried about extra stress on the overall system, and i think those lesser tunes may be a better option for less problems. JMOI tuned my spring order sled at 0 km!!!! Never rode a stock winder yet..lol

Sounds like you have made your decision, kind of !
Small tune, which for me is not-noticeable so not worth your $$.
You did ask for opinions, so I gave you mine. But it makes no difference to me what you do, but you are questioning too many things to make it sound like you really want a tune, so stay stock. Many do and love what they have Joe.

I haven't really ever paid much attention to the feedback provided on tunes, but I'd be more open to jumping onto the bandwagon if it was really a gamechanger and noticed even as a small tune. This right here is probably the most valuable feedback anyone has provided - "small tune, which for me is not-noticeable so not worth your $$". Sounds like I'll stay stock and spend money elsewhere for upgrades.

Wrong. Adding a solid 30HP is definitely noticeable!!I haven't really ever paid much attention to the feedback provided on tunes, but I'd be more open to jumping onto the bandwagon if it was really a gamechanger and noticed even as a small tune. 240tune(small tune) IS A HUGE NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE!!!! I flashed many guys with the 240 tune and when they try it for the first time it blows there mind!!!I haven't really ever paid much attention to the feedback provided on tunes, but I'd be more open to jumping onto the bandwagon if it was really a gamechanger and noticed even as a small tune. I run the Hurricane 240 Stock muffler tune and it is flawless for all around performance.

Absolutely nothing to worry about running a stage one tune from any of the tuners.
Remember 20 years ago guys used to spend $500 or more on aftermarket exhausts that often caused alot of headaches with less than advertised gains!

Big tunes can cause headaches. Every time you wack it, your brain has the potential to slap against your skull due to the g-forces.
