Hello guys,
The ECU in my 2008 Yamaha Fx Nytro MTX doesn't work anymore so i need to buy a new one.
Do any of you guys know the difference between the ECU in short sleds vs. mountain sleds?
there are two different part numbers
part# 8GL-8591A-00-00 for shorty
part# 8HA-8591A-00-00 for mountain.
I can get a ECU from 09 shorty for half the price of new one.
Does anybody know if it would fit my sled?

Is the difference by any chance related to the auxiliary DC jack found on the mountain models...?

Connectors are all the same, higher alt mapping is is set into place, will work just fine though.
