New to the RX-1 world and read allot about the M-10 suspension being put on the RX-1. Has anyone put an Edge suspension under the RX-1? Thanks for the info.

Your on the same track as me. I have a 2004 600 edge touring with the Polaris edge rear suspension, (It is a cross between an M-10 and a Polaris suspension. That sucker has 15" of rear travel in a 136". I have to say that is one kick butt suspension. It sucks up just about anything. I can do 50 over stutter bumps and hardly feel them.

How can we get the edge 121 in a RX1. Wonder how much a complete edge suspension cost.

 NOW WE'RE TALKIN :!:
I miss my EDGE, especially on the chatters/stutters  I used to get headaches from the 2-stroke fumes on an all-day ride. Now I get headaches after the first 5 miles of a torn-up trail
My '02 XC would literally float across chatter-bumps and moderate stutters. Hang on to your hats cause I just might try it

Edge Suspensions I have seen are in the 400-650 range. I am going to hawk E-bay though if I can purchase one for 250.
Haven't actually tried this, so for what it is worth...
If I wanted to install an Edge skid into an RX, I would start with some measurements off of the Polaris chassis. use a piece of string around the drive axle to determine the distance back to the first mount hole. Assuming the string is level, measure up/down to find the proper height for the mounting hole. Repeat process for rear mounting holes.
If those measurements are then transcribed to the Yamaha chassis, the skid should be spacially oriented exactly how it is in the donor sled, meaning the attack angle etc. should remain the same - the skid has no idea what's bolted around it. Front suspension will most likely need a complete re-dial though.
Just a thought, I could be wrong...

My friend has put the edge suspension in his 03 rx1. It works great. He had a polaris sitting next to his so he could compair the two when measure. then he bought one from a junk yard for about $500. he had to pull the limiter straps in as far as they would go but it does work well.
