Electrical/charging issue....cont

I have seen cracked wires before under the coating so you couldn’t tell until you stripped the wire.
Holy #*$&@ balls he’s back!!!! Where have you been hiding my good man?

I haven’t been into sleds in a few years. Drag racing in the summer and ice racing dirt bikes in the winter.
Well it’s nice to see you back here Ryan. Have you been bitten by the sled bug again, or just checking up on us?

I wanted to buy a sled this past summer but had some major unexpected financial bill so waiting until this next summer. I’m going up on the ty ride just to hang out my girlfriend me are going to do some other tourist things up there.

I read of this but didnt see how it was possible. Are you saying the oil actually migrated on the inside of the insulated jacket around the actual copper strands? If so, that would make sense, but thats quite a ways to travel
I seen an issue years ago on a 1995 Town Car with engine coolant in the PCM, found the ECT was leaking and the coolant migrated through the engine harness and ended up in the PCM. It was towed in as a no start, found dead PCM with coolant inside. Took awhile to find that one.

It definitely is true I found! Lol I even picked up a used regulator, and it had oil in the stator wire port. Its crazy, but its true o_O
