Electrical ??????

Today I was checking over the Nytro XTX before the trip up north next week and started the sled let it warm up and ran it for a few minutes then shut it down and tried to restart it right back up would not turn over just like the battery was dead, then all of a sudden the headlight started blinking so I turned the key off hit the kill switch pulled the tether cord and shut off the sled start but the light kept blinking and then all of a sudden it quit. What happened? After having some ?? about the battery I hooked up jumper cable to another battery and sled popped right off so I replaced the battery. Why would the light keep blinking with the key off and kill switch and tether pulled?

look the terminals in your square key switch ignition connector (4 pins) lot of corrosion and bad contact. found this many times
