I think we got really lucky with our winter and trail conditions early last year. Can't wait to ride up there too Cannnondale, love the trails in the area. Maybe I'll see you out there!

I myself put a set of elka 4s on my sidewinder but haven't gotten out on the trails yet. when I tried to adjust the rear ride height I could only get the sled to sag with me on it 1.75 inch is this what you got on yours? also how did you adjust the center shock rebound and compression? thanks for any help mikeI did over the summer. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to hop on the sled and do some riding to try out the Elka Stage 5's. Can't wait to feel how they perform. They look awesome!

I get about 2 inches of sag when I sit on it. Haven't measured it yet this year, but feel it's pretty close to that.
I had my socks revalved this past summer so I'm starting over from scratch and will be tweaking my settings as I get some miles on this winter. My Stage 5's provide both High Speed and Low Speed Compression and I believe your Stage 4's only provide Low Speed Compression. I am currently at 13 Turns out from Soft for my Low Speed Compression, but will most likely will be making it a bit firmer. For my Rebound, I am starting at 5 Turns out from Fast. Again, will most likely tweak it the more I ride but I was really happy this weekend with the rebound. For me, I found adjusting Rebound first and getting that right, followed the compression is what worked best for me. Make 2 - 3 turns for each adjustment and go test, but only make one adjustment at a time. Hope this helps.
