yamamarc, my fan turns on right around 93 and will keep the sled in the 90-93 range. You can definitely just let it idle up to there.

Out right now and it's staying at 73 c even on roads!!! I removed the mesh guard wondering if that's what did it (fixed it)
Anyway the "fun flipper " is going to get me in trouble
Happy my exhaust is qweit because the trail never looked twice but stared at wife with sandales exhaust

Mine runs at anywhere between 70-80 C in fresh snow or rock hard ice. I put on 400km yesterday on the trails and never saw over 80.

Hit 104 c for temp on road coming home.....
I know 100% that my rad fan isn't working now. My wife's fan was running when we got home and her temps were in the low90s. I shut off both machines and her continued to run for about 20 second and mine wasn't
I turned the key on hers and fan started
Put my key in the on position and nothing
didn't run and I was showing 101

So it's one of 3 things
Fan itself
Relay
Or the extention cable that came with the MPI kit that plugs into thermostat house..
Anyone know of the easiest way to test
For the fan itself I will run 2 wires directly from battery
Relay I'll test / or replace
As for extension I will check resistance
If anyone has simpler methods to check please chime in
