mine broke to, i'm not fixing it

Mine has broken twice in the past. The newest cable is pretty durable - Yamaha made it stronger in 2008 - been on mine for the past three seasons and is still intact. Of course, this new cable costs twice as much too. I think it was $97 when I bought it back in '07. Not totally sure though.

I have a brand new cable in the baggy still if anyone wants to buy it....I can put it in the mail easily!!

I put in an Ohlins this season, works great!

with the cable broke can you adjust the shock at the top of the shock by hand or with a tool????????????

I suspect you would still have the cable inerds....so use it and adjust away!

cable

i use a green robertson (square) screw driver that i cut the handle a little shorter. it fits perfect and if you take out the three screws and remove the side adjustment knob you can look through the tunnel with the back end jacked up and see what you are doing.

I replaced mine last year with the "updated" cable and never adjusted it since summer. Looked down closely at it yesterday only to find its broke. I wont be replacing it either. Garbage!
