ERR 1 code

My gauge pod does not work reads err1 or error 1 speedo tach dead and i think it is in limp mode. It is the first start up of the year so it is not moisture related. I have had this happen several times before and it seemed to go away on its own. I just did a oil change and i think that manipulating the wires and connecters is the reason for the problem. Does anyone know what the code means so i can target my search to damaged or chaffed wires or connectors in a certain area?

Probably a loose connection or broken wire somewhere.

When does it come on? Mine kept throwing that code with the key on, and the fuel pump would click on and off continuously. Turned out to be my battery - not getting enough juice.

Seems to be a connection problem seems to happen after il changes I removed all connections blew out with air cleaned with wd_40 and added more silicon based dielctric grease. Seems to be fine after start up we will see in the moring as we are getting 30 centimeters tonight

The only time my apex did that is when i blew the driveshaft bearing. Cruising down the trail, code came on and would not restart. Check that bearing. If you haven't rode it yet this year probably not, but worth looking at.
