Self-Sharpening Carbides has me intrigued. Surprised I didn’t see them at the Snow Show. I’ve got a quote request out to the company, just wondering has any one else looked into these and what are your thoughts?

I have the snowtrackers on my '15 Viper with MPI Turbo kit. I like the snowtrackers, but it seems that people either love them or hate them. The main downside to them is road crossings (especially if the approach to the pavement is not ideal), loading and unloading to the trailer, and railroad crossings with exposed rails -- in short, they stick out below the ski pretty aggressively and like to get hung up on things. With that said, I experience almost no darting in the trail conditions that I ride (New England area -- NH, VT, and ME) which is what was important to me. As for longevity, I do believe that they wear longer and remain "effective" as they wear better than "normal" carbides. My Viper has the Tuner Skis (dual runners) and I also had the Snowtrackers on my previous sled (an Attak) that had single runner skis. I also have them on my '09 RS Venture and '02 Viper (family/backup sleds).

I've used the Everlasters and the Snotrackers. The Everlaster is the center carbide in the Snotracker. I'd recommend buying the complete Snotracker set. I have the semi-aggressive on my 137" and it rails! You wont regret them.
