The shape reminds me of the Yoshi muffler for dirt bikes. Aftermarket has been using that rubber pitch clamp design for alot of years now with no issues.
Yes but on all the exhaust out there with those style clamps they are bolted directly to a mount on the Frame whether it be dirt bike, atv or motorcycle. No brackets holding this on to that. More than likely will never cause an issue but why not fit it with solid brackets and use the existing rubber mounts that the stock muffler uses. That to me would seem to be much more durable and unique, realistically, anyone with the can itself could go out and buy the material to make a mounting system like that.

Seen the exhaust today at the excell grass drags, they had their viper on display there. The exhaust is a sweet looking setup, still unsure on all the bracing but with the design that prolly is about the only way to go about it. It's prolly the cleanest looking setup out there that I've seen yet.
Did you see the intake that was mentioned?

Yes I did, didn't get a chance to talk with anyone on it tho. Again it's a very unique looking setup as nobody has done it yet on the viper

Their combo was on the dyno at Jims earlier this month and looks to be a good setup. Made good power for a can/airbox combo.

Ya their banner that they had displaying the parts said 13hp gain. Sounds right in line with the other claims. Their velocity stacks in the airbox I think will help a lot with performance, don't know of anyone else yet that has done anything like that

Ulmer's filter kit has velocity stacks built into it as well (it is part of the adapter for the filters to go onto). Excell's items have always been very high quality!

Has anyone heard the excell exhaust on the viper yet? I have a friend that wants get one for his 7000 but would like to hear it before we make the hour and a half drive down there. I know they said on their Facebook to just look up the nytro YouTube vid but to me the nytro and viper don't really sound the same, two very different tones in my opinion.

Just updating this. Couple Dyno charts from their website. I am running the airbox mod definitely feel the midrange pull and am running almost 10 deg cooler Intake temps consistantly.
This is a Nytro chart for comparison
