CLIP YOUR TRACK! start with the simple things, A full clipped track is a must for any machine that runs in low snow, Like other people have said get an aniti-stab kit, it wont solve the problem but it should help out with slider wear close to the rail clips.

X2. I totally agree.

One trick that we do out west to save weight is run no wheels, scratchers and hyperfax. Hyperfax is kinda spendy, but it wears like iron! I'm on my 3rd season with mine, with little wear showing ;)!

Keeping this thread alive,
I ordered up some wheels from Whal. 5.3, with a crossshaft/spacers to make it fit inside the rails.
However,
It doesnt fit inside the rails! :o|

I thought rail spacing was pretty standard, its a 8 3/4 inch shaft...

Would y'all suggest to jam it in there and bow the rails out a bit, or grind that little bugger down to fit my rails?

How much longer is the cross shaft? You have to loosen the other suspension bolts in order to get it in there..

its a bit less than 1/4 more... i'll loosen the bolts and see how she goes.
