I've searched but can't seem to find the exhaust assembly sequence for '06 Apex GT. My y-pipe was cracked and muffler needed a weld at a joint. I'm putting everything back together and just wondering if the following is correct:
(1) Install y-pipes and bolt onto hangar loosely
(2) Install flex pipes/donuts and tighten clamps onto flex pipes and y-pipes
(3) Tighten y-pipe bolts on hangar
(3) Install muffler/silencer and tighten clamps on muffler/flex pipes
(4) Bolt rear of muffler to tunnel
Also, I installed 3/16 over sized head aluminum washers on the hanger - really tightened it up, I actually think this was what caused all the failure. I just read these can shear off and to use steel
I honestly can't see how this could happen, its solid right now. Do I have to swap out for metal now
