Hello Had an exhaust leak about 800 miles ago an my 06 attak. Replaced the donuts with copper units. While riding last week noticed exhaust getting loader and backfiring. Tore sled apart again to find the flange on number one cyl worn and cracked. I ground a small amount off of the flange stud when replacing donuts. Has anyone had this problem? Is it better to buy another pipe or use the flange repair kits? Could this have happened because I took to much off the flange stud? thanks

Some users are trying the kits this season. Have not heard results yet from them. Mine where so bad on my 05 that it was Easyer to replace the pipes.
