I just bought a brand new leftover 2010 nytro xtx and was planning on installing an MBRP muffler on it. Just wondering if you guys think I should wait till I break it in before I put it on, or will it not affect it that much that I can put it on right away? It will be just the muffler, not a whole system.
I will install to letfover -09 Nytro Aeen pipe coming weekend. I plan to drive carefully first 500 anyway. It's nice to start the season with good sounds. I planned MBRP too but got Aeen cheap so I took it.

I would break it it like you would anything else regardless of what slip on is on the sled.

I put my Excell on before I even got it on the snow. You should have no concerns.

second
i second that. or third it.
my sled got about 5 mins of idle time on stock exhaust.
then i took it all apart and put a undertunnel ex on it.
no problems.

What kind of under-tunnel exhaust did you install?
I did my Aeen and sounds nice. Those youtube videos doesn't sound nearly as good as the real thing. MBRP might quite loud.
I got to keep original plastics and covers but the sound is way better than stock. Just like the way I wanted it.
