What is up with the personal attacks. Come on guys...

Hope I'm not included in that?
"You called me out and i proved you to be a liar."

In general. This is getting out of hand~thats all. Lets have fun and think of the coming season and not bitch about what he said/she said.

I cant say anything about hindle...other than Ive heard they make awesome cycle stuff...

the fact is...Excell has been a advertiser on this site for years...I personally have bought a lot of stuff...and it all was top notch...

they were the first to make an exhaust for each of the fourstrokes and others have seemingly come to the party lately maybe riding the backs of Excell to the dance..Im not stating any particular company so dont read into...

I think we can all agree Allen Ulmer is a highly respected tuner here also...and I know he has personally vouched for the quality and integrity of the excell stuff...

However, just like any product...you will find some who dont care for it for whatever reason...most wont blame themselves for example if the run too long of studs or fail to install correctly...or whatever...

I know of two people that ran too long of studs and hit where Excell fixed the hit...and one where there was a minor problem and they replaced it free...

they have thousands of exhaust out there...probably more than all of the newcomers combined...so the top always get shot at..

the mark of a good company is :

1) what percentage of their consumers are happy with their product? in this case Id bet over 90%

2) when a problem occurs, how well do they handle customer service?? Ive heard nothing but awesome til boo boo...

this isnt a competition...

maybe someday...years from now Hindle will have the same name in the fourstroke snowmobile exhaust world as Excell...with thousands of happy customers...

and Im sure they will have their bumps along the way to...

and besides..people pick their sides...and never blame themselves.....we all know the statement...

"you'd complain if you were hung with a new rope!"

Just did a cut and paste on your previous comment. Why do you respond to all the hindle post? Are you buying one? Again this is getting out of hand. If somebody likes a product ~ buy it and report the results. What have you had with aftermarket exhuast? Maybe give feedback on something you have used. This forum is suppose to be for enjoyment and not a bitch session. Why do you care about shaddow or his exhuast. You have degraded Nytro and Apex posts on hindle. DOGPILE!

Tired of this crap.... anyone in this thread that has started or contributed to the pissing match has been given a warning.... no more, let the advertisers show their success at the track or in service....ok?

I ran an Excell header the last couple seasons and I'm running another one this season. I actually like the design of the Hindle better as it's lighter and ditches the flex joints, I just can't spend money on a product with such a big power loss. If Hindle made an aftermarket header that didn't lose anything down low I'd of bought it. I hope they keep testing and re-designing until they're successful. The more companies that enter the 4-stroke market the better it is for all of us. Aaen also makes a nice looking header/exhaust system

Our plan is to re-design the system that uses the stock muffler. Our current system is too much flow for the stock muffler. We need to design a more restricted front section. The reason the Excell system works with their muffler and the stock muffler is because it is more restricted than the Hindle system. Our system is designed to maximize flow and performance which requires modifications, like air box mods and RB3 or PC to reach maximum hp. We do plan to design a 90 degree tip to accomadate bags or gas tanks.

We also plan to do some db testing. We have learned alot from the MX/ATV market in sound and hope to apply these theories and techniques to the sled market.

Anyone using the Aaen setup and can share there experiences with it?

Lee, Nice to see.
I'm ready, my sled is apart.

I'll take a Full Stealth System, TI, Ceramic black coating, DB reduction, Turnout, and PC5 AutoTune wideband port welded in.

Will you be able to provide a PC5 base line map to start me out?
Just tell me where to place my order.
Cheers

Mach,

Black ceramic coating is not available yet because we have not finished our testing however we could ceramic coat the pipe at a later date. The turnout tip is not available yet however it should be finalized very soon. The Stealth system with titanium muffler and db reduction is currently available. All systems will have a 18mm bung welded into the midpipe.

Lee,
My order will be placed shortly through one of your dealers.
Can the turnout tip be added later or is it integral to the muffler design?
Thanks again.
