I've been looking for some exhaust turnouts for my Vector MY2012 and all I see are ones for Nytros, Phazers and Apexs. Does anyone know of a place that sells them? The Yamaha Accessory catalog doesn't have them. Looking for help.

Double check before purchasing them as the way the Vector exists the rear is different than the Apex's.
(compared to my 08 Vector vs another 08 Apex)

Not only that, but unless Yamaha changed the pipe size on the new Vectors.... the Apex ('06-'10) has larger tips than the Vector ('05-'10).

chester take a measure of the pipe and i will measure my apex for you to see if they will work

Here is what I measured.

1 11/32" (34.13mm) to the best of my ability. It is hard to get a good measurement because it is cut on multiple angles. I suppose I could have used a pie tape, but I don't have one of those.

How are the tips attached?

Thanks

They are attached with a rivet.

I made my own custom exhaust covers out of stock alum. & then I polished them to a chrome finish. One of a kind & they really look sharp.

Sorry I cannot take any pictures right now because I have already brought my machines up to the UP 3 weeks ago while the roads were dry.
