Exhaust

I know a lot of people have put dirt bike, sportbike, and even ATV slip-on exhausts on their Phazers, and just as many have taken them right back off because they were too loud.

I wish someone could find a slip on that works well on the phazer without being too loud.

Yup its the same as the Ultra Q but re branded, I will let you know next week how it sounds in person :)

I've got the Ultra Q and it sounds better than stock in my opinion. It is also a lot lighter.

I own an MBRP muffler. I put that mofo on and actually lost power and its way too loud. Cops would have a field day with me. I took that sucker off and sent it to schmidt bros. They gutted it and installed their core inside. Difference is night and day and only a tad noisier then stock.

I meant I wished there was a low $ alternative street bike/dirtbike/atv exhaust that was fairly quiet.

Some guys use one side of a R1 exhaust. Can be found cheap.I always wanted to make a dual R1 system.

Mine came with an MBRP on it when I bought it, ran it for 600 miles and yanked it- could hear it over my Ipod dialed up all the way.

Went back to stock set up and truthfully feel there is back pressure making some wee bit 'o power- like Equ said + no NY cops are bothering me & trails aren't getting closed because of it.

Louder isn't always faster

What size is the pipe 2"? im thinking a Magnaflow oval might work ? would be under 100 for polished stainless and i would think give it a nice deep tone

yeah, a 2" ID pipe slips over the stock piping just past the Y

i dont think that has been tried yet! At least not that I have seen. Give 'er a try and take a vid of how it sounds.

BTW - welcome to TY! can you fill in your location? Its a site requirement.
