Ive got 600$ or so bucks to spend ive been looking around Excell, Bender, White Knuckle. The excell caught my eye first, but is a little tad pricy with the headers than the actually pipe it self looken at almost 900$ on jsut the pipe alone, if anybody has any input on a pipe they have for there Vector, Nytro, Rage tell me anything you can....

Thank you

James- :4STroke:

did u clutch ur sled yet? ur going to gain a lot more clutching than u will by putting a pipe on it. i run a hauck pipe, and it sounds very similar to a white knuckle...except a white knuckle has more of a ting ting sound to it...i guess its hard to explain. pro 116 had it on his vector when he had it. i like my hauck pipe, very nice sound but not obnoxiously loud either

clutching

Go with aulmer stage 3 clutching it's night and day difference the stock clutching on the vector, rage, nytro's suck.If you are looking at getting exhaust only I like the sound better of the hauck or excell over the white knuckle.

The hauck pipe now you mean the GHT R DUN pipe or w/e it is called? Is it a simple bolt on compared to the rest of the pipes.

pipe

it's kind of all 3 put together that you subscribed.loud croth rocket low grunt sound.I'm not shure on the install.Yes it's the get r dun pipe.

Alrite thank you guys, im going to look more into the Hauck pipe I know there big with Yamaha.

Hauck pipe is excellent. Sounds like a crotch rocket, not to loud. You will not be disappointed. I have the following done and the sled rocks:

1. Hauck Pipe

2. Ulmer Stage 3 Clutch kit

3. Holzt Green Carb Springs

These 3 items turned this sled into a different sled altogether.

i beg to differ on the crotch rocket sound...cuz my dad has a hauck pipe on his rx1 and that thing sounds like a crotch rocket...so i guess thats what im basing it off of. maybe if i could figure out how to get a video clip on here i could actually show you guys the difference, but that might be a bit of a challenge for moi here...i will see what i can do

 a video clip would be excellent!!!!!

I installed the Hauck slip on near the end of the season and it is loud enough that I'd probably wear ear plugs if I went on a long distance ride. Of course I also considered wearing ear plugs with the damn track howl.

Anyway, it has a nice sound and makes the sled sound mean. I dig the sound! I listened to my sled while my brother rode it up some climbs and it sounded like a sport bike. Cool.

I was not real pleased with the fit and finish of the pipe, especally considering the price. THe stock clamp needed a longer bolt to fit over the Hauck. The rear of the pipe is just painted steel, so it will start rusting. All in all it was half the weight, sounded great and seemed to make my stock motor a little bit more responsive.

rockrider EXCELLENT post just what i wanted to hear the stock clamp not big enough? anyways thats the sound i wanted and the reply i wanted also one nice sled you got!!!

Yamaslob, thanks for the compliment. I love my sled, especally as I mod it towards my riding style.

Pimped, I didn't know they came with a different clamp. Sure as hell would have made things easier to install. Even with the longer bolt, it was a PITA to get the bolt started into the threads to tighten it.
