what i find funny about this handwarmer issue is why is it that when i have my gauntlets on the warmers melt my gloves in any temp,but when i take them off it gets colder,wouldnt that be a wind deflection issue opposed to an electrical issue,the warmers work like they should,on mine anyway(09 vector ltx)my old warrior were slightly better without the gauntlets but it was a warmer sled because of the way the sled is styled,ive never had cold hands thanks to my $20 gauntlets that i can take off when i want too,my 2 cents

Is is simply exposure to the elements. End of story........
Exposed bars transfer heat or cold in this case.
Get some handguards, better gloves, wind deflectors or hand warmers to put in your gloves and quit trying to re-invent the wheel.
I don't even use my darn hand warmers at all and I have ridden in temp's that might scare you. (-50 and lower) -10/-20 routinely this season so far.
