i am installing the cobra track this fall.
can anyone recommend decent extroverts to run on this 07 attak with the cobra track ?
is it a tuff job to change / install the drivers on the shaft ?

im kinda waiting til the 2010 apex parts are released. i think i might want to run their extros. but if i dont then it will be the doo extros. from what i heard on here they are way better than whal bros.
you have to press the drive cogs on and off, not hard but you need a press

There is nothing wrong with Wahl extros...... In fact, from my research it seems that is what most people here use. I just bought a pair of 8 tooth Wahl extros for my Attak and I am excited about them. Doo are good also. I've heard the advantage of the Doo extros is cheaper price. That is it. The Avids they say are built differently and are maybe more "true" -- that may be an advantage in slightly less vibration -- maybe not even noticeable though and they are definitely more costly. But Wahl's are very durable I've heard. I bet the oem extros will also be very nice.

The DOO drivers are no longer available right now. I tryed to order a set about two weeks ago and I was refunded my money because Doo does'nt have them. I guess this has been a problem for a while now. PS I am going with the Whals myself.

The difference is that the Doo drivers have reliefs for the track clips pre cut as they are received. Because the Wahls do not, many have mentioned a break in period for the clips to cut their own reliefs? They say there may be a pronounced vibration until that happens?

Does anyone know for sure what the new for '10 Yammi drivers look like in this regard? Has anyone seen a part number or price for those?

ive seen a pic of them. looks like they are extros only and slide up against the inner intros. no info yet as any of the dealers i have spoken with dont have the '10 parts updates.

I believe the 2010 Yamaha extros are just like their mountain extros - 2 regular drivers on the inside and 2 extroverted sprockets on the outside.

Iam also putting on a cobra track and going to run extrovert drivers. I asked the guys at the yamaha tent and they said the new drive axle is different than my 06 attak and will not fit. But did not know when you could buy just the drivers. He said that they run Whal drivers when they change them on the sleds they take out west. So that is what Iam going to buy and put on.
