07 attak putting in my ZX2 and all new jack shaft and bearings and new cobra track. Had a question I have 18/38 with 35 flats on chain is this stock or how can I find out what stock is.

18/38 yikes what were you grass dragging???? Stock is 23/38 and I am not sure of the chain maybe a 72pitch?

count the pins 72 link would never work on 18/38

I think 72 is stock with the 23/38. He has to be using a 68 or a 66 pitch with that top gear.

70t chain is stock... if you run a 22/38 or less need to go to a 68t chain...

Thanks for all the help had a small brain fart counting the wrong gear it is a 23/38 Thanks. Having trouble with reassemble of the chain case. Yamaha manual is a little vague on some of the washers and spacers. Any tips on bettter pictures

Go on port yamaha and look under fich for your sled then go under chaincase look at pics.
