I just have to say it seems that with all the negative info we read about our sleds or any manufatures sled its about time we read some postive info.
I have to say I fall in love with my sled every chance I get to ride it. The sled keeps getting faster the more miles I put on it. So far this year I have about 1230 miles on worry free riding. Could I say that on a Doo 2 stroke, NO.
This year I have had my sled at 124 mph on the dream o meter, with more left had I stayed in it longer, about 10 mph faster than last year. My sliders seems to be holding up pretty good, I attribute that to the low snow wheel kit and good snow condtions.
I have to say that my 07 RTX fits me prefectly, after I went out on a limb and bought one with out any seat time to speak of. It does everything I ask it to do very well. My best friend and riding buddy even said that if I rode my old REV like I rode the RTX I would have blown it up about 600 miles ago. I have my sled set up unlike most on the board, but I like to bangle the skis and have a challenging ride. Sleds that handle like cars are boring in my eyes. Every time I rail my sled in a long sweeping corner I smile ear to ear. The suspension soaks up the little sutter bumps with ease and the sled rails the smooth trails like no other.
Is the sled prefect you ask"? No but there is not one out there that is. One needs to fix the so called imprefections and get out on the snow and ride. In fact, I am lusting right now for the next time me and my RTX get to go out and dominate the trails!

I feel the same way about my 07. I have 3500 miles on mine and it is an amazing machine!

i now have just over a thousand miles on my 07 apex this year (new sled) and the first couple of rides out i would have given the damn thing away! now, after lot's of reading here and other places, i have it dialed in with all stock components and I LOVE IT!! the thing rails around the corners and you can come out like a bullet!

I too love my '07 APEX RTX!!! (first year). I have 500 miles on her and LOVE IT!!! After I put those bump stops on its been a sweet ROUGH TRAIL sled. And the 4-stroke power and reliability is FLAT OUT AWESOME!!
My buddies both have REV's and both have had rebuilds on their motors this year!! I wonder how many breakdowns its going to take until they buy a Yami 4-Stroke??? lol

Same here. My first ride on my '07 Apex GT made me think that I had made a big mistake by trading in my Viper! I hated the suspension & the handling.
Fortunately with the help of you fellow TY'ers, I now have this baby dialed in perfect for me and I wouldn't trade back to my Viper for anything.
Thanks again guys for all the help!
