Tell me if im wrong but shouldent yamaha be building a twin 4 stroke turbo with about 160hp, putting it into say a lighter fx nytro chassis and finally have a descent set of gauges and handwarmers on it, and what the hell let it have a 1" n 3/4" track. Im sure they arnt building anything like that but hey this is yamaha were they dont refine things. Lets face the facts a four cylinder never worked in the V-max 4 and if you do anything other than groomed trail riding its a pig especially in powder. Yea its fast but dont go off the trail or that big engine is like a ancor. I think its time for yamaha to catch up or give up :exc:

X2 So much complaining on here lately. If you dont like your sled get rid of it for something you want.

I would never buy a big 2-cylinder 4 stroke. Just the awful sound alone is a big reason. The Phazer and ACE engines are perfect for what they are, but I just don't like twins in performance sleds.

Listen people I like yammy engines they are the best. I own a 660 modded grizzley a high output yamaha 4 stroke marine engine and a rs venture. having said that relize the facts yamaha sleds are to heavy. This guy who says his sled never gets stuck should come here in Newfoundland and try some high country running or some trips to louis Hills. And to the guy who says he dosent like the way a high powered twin cylinder turboed 4 stroke performs with a yamaha sticker on it is a ???????, cause he never had it.Its time for some major change in the engine dept here Yamaha wake up and Build us a turboed engine thats lighter than Cats and with at least 175hp!!!! Who ever thinks I have no point Knows nothing about off trail riding.
