Took my carbs off to clean the pilot jets and not i have a fault code 15. If i move the throttle position sensor around will it shut the fault light off? Or do i need to do something else?

Code 15 is a disconnected or short-circuit T.P.S. Your close to the problem.

I removed the sensor when i removed the carbs. I should have unpluged it instead, my bad. I need to know what to do to correct the problem.

When I bought my sled, The dealer replaced my T.P.S under warranty. I had to bring the sled in to him so he could replace it and recalibrate it with somesort of electrical device. Don.t think you can reset it by trial and error.

I could see that being the new tps was not matched to your sled. I was hoping for more info on the situation. I am going to mess with it this weekend, hope i can clear the code 15.

All you need is a multimeter to set the TPS. The procedure should be in the service manual.

You didn't say what year or model your sled was. I will guess that it probably a 2008 to 2010 model. Put your sled gauge cluster into Diagnostic Mode and look at parameter in d:01.
In order to get into diagnostics mode, set the e-stop switch to RUN and the ignition key switch to OFF. While simultaneously holding the SELECT and RESET buttton on your instrument cluster, turn the ignition key to the ON position and continue to hold the SELECT and RESET for about 10 seconds.
The gauge will display d1. Simultaneously press SELECT and RESET again for a couple of seconds and the you will be in dignostics mode.
The gauge should display d:01 in the clock window.
There should also be a number displayed in the odometer window which shows the throttle position parameter in degrees of angle.
Press the SELECT or RESET buttons to increment or decrement the diagnostic code number.
With the throttle fully closed, the parameter for d:01 should read between 15 and 18.
With the throttle fully open, the paremeter should read between 94 and 100.
To exit the diagnostics mode, turn the ignition key off.
If your position sensor is good, you should be able to set the calibration without any special tools or meters.

I am sorry i did not list my year of sled, it is a 2005. I hope the information you listed will still work for a 2005. Great information, Thanks.
