I have Simmons on both of my attacks. Ride UP back woods. Great floaters track straight and true. Little harder to turn on the grommed stuff

Put the new tuner skies on before my quebec trip, 6" in 4" out 2011 Apex studded. Absolutely loved it, price is amazing. I had zero darting and with the EPS easy as pie. Every other member of my group had sore shoulders or back, i had no pain the whole five days. Thanks Yamaha! Now if I can just top my middle wheels from freezing I am all good.

Question to me is.... are tuners better on Apex LTX with minmum studs pre 2011 to stock skis with Bergstrom shims, skisavers & triple points?

I believe its a third generation relay for the fuel pump. The other relays were two pieces the new one is one piece. I don't know much about these things but I carry an extra now.Irv said:Northern Rider said:Irv said:Northern Rider said:Put the new tuner skies on before my quebec trip, 6" in 4" out 2011 Apex studded. wow guess im the only one who is not in love with these skis. have only had them on for 100 miles,no pushing in the corners, good under power but i still have a low speed darting issue. i like how they are 1 inch wider than the stock ski for some extra flotation offtrail and they are an improvement over stock for darting but its still an issue with them.
Im using 4in inside , 0 outside with no studs in the track.

That is why I asked my question how much better are tuners than stockers with Bergstrom triple points, shims & ski savers? Very litle dart with this set up but I would welcome less steering effort if tuners have less effort than stockers with Bergstrom triple points shims & ski savers? Anybody have the comparo?

I have 6 inside 4 outside on studded Vector and love them. They bite well and do not dart.
That's what I wanted

i use ski doo pilot 6.9 on 07 apex attack and they work great. 6" on outside and 8" down the middle, turns on a dime and gives you change, no darting and easy to steer. mostly groomed trail riding.
