Finally a VIPER owner!!!

After following TY for the last 3 years and reading everything I could find about the viper, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a used 2014 Viper xtx! Has about 1000 miles, YES warranty til 2018, osp can, curve skis, and a bunch of small upgrades. Picking it up this weekend in Milwaukee. I'm glad I'll have it early in the season so I can wrench on it for 6 or 8 weeks til I get it up to the UP for my first ride. I think I'll be going back to he stock muffler for noise reasons so if anyone wants the osp can I'm happy to sell it for a very reasonable price. I'm coming off a nytro xtx and I can't wait to see the handling changes with the new chassis. I feel like a kid all over again, like its 1984 and I just got my first honda ATC 110!

Hang on to the can for a bit, some of the stock mufflers came apart. Take a look and see if the front skid shock spring has been replaced, if not it will feel heavy steering. If it is light feeling steering like a Phazer it has been changed already.

We have two XTX (converted to MTX) and couldn't be happier! Enjoy!

Let us know when your headed to the YOOPER!! I spend a majority of my time up there over the winter.

Congrats on the new/used sled. Your going to love the XTX. It will do what you want on/off the trail with ease. Looks like it has some great mods done and ready to ride! Only thing your missing is some SNOW. Enjoy

I keep looking at that sled doesn't a xtx come with a 144 track? That looks like my ltx se

Oops I see the xtx is a 141. Enjoy your toy I have no regrets at all!!!!

Thanks for the kind comments. I'll be getting the new heavier skid spring and going thru the FAQ again to look into all the little things that can go wrong. Cant wait to pick it up!

I'll definitely hit you up when I head north. We have a family cabin in land o lakes which right on the UP border. I make it up their 2-4 times a winter. Where are you located?

Does the FAQ have the skid shock spring part number? I'm going to get one of those for sure.

How much for the OSP? BTW great choice on the sled...

I am in Minneapolis and lease a place outside of Hurley. I ride over to Bruce crossing and watersmeet quite a bit. But mostly like the run from Hurley to Copper Harbor and back.
