after about 4 weeks of trial and error I got the Phazer darting issue on my FX worked out..... I can now one hand her down the trail....the more I ride this the more I like it!!! I really like the narrow feel of the sled... after hopping on my Rev the Rev feels so wide and bulky now.....

first off I am running a bone stock 07 Phazer FX with stock ski's...I went with a set of 9" studboy Sharper bars widened the ski stance as far as I could by moving the spacers outside the ski!! turned the rubber ski stoppers under the ski's around...Loosened up my front springs 2 turns and Increased my rebound to 6 clicks out and my compession to 4 click out.....pulled limiter strap down 1 hole to the second hole... loosened up my rear spring front shock about 2 turns.... set rear spring on Medium and turned up the rear shock compression to 3 clicks out.. run ski toe out only 1/4 inch....I run my track a little looser than normal no studs so I can do this....still get 88mph on the dream-o-meter!! It's now a one hander down the trail.....

sounds like the ticket. For reference, what do you weigh? I'm pushing 220 lbs with gear and thinking about spending some time working on my Phazer this week - I finally have a dry garage to work in.

That's too much work. Stick some doolies on there and be done with it.

I am about 240lbs. geared up..... it's been one of the most diffucult sleds to figure out but one of the best sleds to make changes!! Yamaha made making suspension changes rather EZ....

WOW why didn't I think of that??????? would take like 2 hours at the most to make all the changes I made.....

First sled huh???? enjoy it!!!

polcatdoo, thanks for the info. While it may be easier to buy some dually's it also is not free like your mods are. I'm also the type of guy that would rather take some time to work on it then just throw money at it. But it is also nice to know the problem can be corrected with just putting dually's on.

I rode a Phazer with Woodys Dually's I thought the #*$&@ end of the sled really walked aroud on decelaration....no you are right the sled didn't dart as much as a stocker.... but I couldn't one hand her down the trail!!!

I wan't a sled I can stick my wife or daughter on and feel confident about it!!!

I like to be able to use hand signals with ease at any speed I am traveling at!!!!

I had the duallyson my stock skiis and turned the rubbers around, still darted. I studded it thinking the back end was waggin, nope. I put a pair of precision skiis on it and that helped alot, nowe my ball joints are nfg and in getting replaced. I will check my toe out and some suspension settings when I get it back.

All I did was flipped the rubbers around and it eliminated most of my problems with darting. But it pushes in the corners yet need to make some more suspension adjustments. Any suggestions?

I put 600km's on it since i gotit back and I still have some darting though significantly less. Inside ski still lifts and ploughs through the corners if I'm on the gas, turns really nice if I can hit the momentum just right. I have 13mm(1/2inch) of toe out. The trails were packed as hard as rock and provided awsome traction and sspeed. when the snow loosend up the darting was almost gone
