I cant wait for a update how long the meth lasts. That is the coolest idea for a tank yet!

My head shimmed stage 1 Sc apex made 246 hp at 10-11 psi. I know every dyno is different are you pulling timing at all with your set up?

I cant wait for my first pull across the lake!

What's the lowest octane with the head shim, can you run? I'm very interested to see how your sled works out for you...

90.8 octane I think it said so I run 91+ if I can find it. Its mainly 91 in Iowa and 93 or 93 in WI and MI so then I'm even more safe. I do carry some torco in case I get caught with suspious fuel on the trail.

So you are running just the head shim on a SC to get 245hp and run on 91 fuel?

we got 241 HP on stage 1 at 12 lbs boost with no head shim and pump fuel. Yes it was pushing the limit but it worked great for 2 years of trail riding and 1000' races.

hicompression and pump fuel is the key here... makes mode power... but more on the edge.

I personnally made 242hp on 11.7 psi on a blower rx1 mountain 2 years ago on stock compression and pump mixed with c16 fuel.

did not think a stage 1 would go to 12 psi.

It was actually 11.5 #'s of boost that made the 243 as I have SPEED's kit and his dyno sheets.
This will be my second year on it on low boost running 5.5 #'s on 91 for 5000 miles with no motor mods.

Thats Right. It was just under 12 lbs. The closer you are to true sea level the more boost it will make. We rode at 1000 to 1200 at the highest and on the gauge you could see 12, but would always stabilize around 11-11.5.

We ran the sled alot on normal 92-93 pump fuel with no issue. We miss that set up. It was a blast to ride.
