Weekend Racing Recap
MEDFORD, WI. (Feb. 2 - 3, 2008) –

The exciting news coming out of Medford was the inaugural Phazer race on Saturday. Saturday’s two rounds of heats and the final allowed everyone involved in the Wisconsin WPSA series their first taste of the Phazer class. The first Phazer first place in the Wisconsin series went to the hometown kid, Kyle Wolf. Wolf struggled in round two, but came out on top when it mattered most. While Derek Lindquist struggled in round one, but got comfortable on the Phazer and put together a pair of second place finishes to finish his day racing. David Rock looked like the favorite coming into the final because of his two strong finishes in the first two rounds. David Rock placed third in the final while his brother Terry rounded out the field.

I plan on having another Phazer entered in the next race at medford. Wanted to race the first medford round, but needed more time than anticipated to make the sled ISR legal! Plan on going to Marshfield this weekend for the IRACE event at PowerPac. If the sled can survive and my wife doesn't kill me for beating up on her sled, I'm really excited about the rest of the season!
Nice report, BTW.

The Phazer and its rider survived its first snocross this weekend!
If anyone was thinking about entering their Phazer in any of the remaining races, do so, it was lots of fun, and relatively cheap.
We need at least 3 entries for a class - hopefully everyone that showed up at the first Medford round will come back for the next one.
