At the cabin in Duluth there is minimal snow.
Yet determined to ride so I went on the edge of our lake, enough snow to lube then 1.2 miles on the trail snow and grass, marginal, then on to the larger Island lake. Rode about 25 miles around the lake and island.
Not to thrilling, but was riding.
HOPE for snow.

I hear ya. Same situation here. We just have enough to cover the grass. All I've done is go around the house since the trails aren't open. We're having a couple of days of cold to help get the lakes frozen but will have two more above freezing days on the weekend with rain. Every time we get precipitation, it goes above or near freezing. Last storm, we had wet snow and rain. The cold just won't stay

Northern MN should be getting some more snow tonight! Which lake is your cabin on? I have a place on Big Pequaywan near Brimson (just north of Two Harbors).

You make it sound bad. it's not. at least you rode.
I'm actually jealous. we don't even have snow dust on the ground here
