Thats the way to do it. My dad started me at around 6 with our 1995 Vmax 500, when I was 9 started trail riding our 1997 Polaris XCR 600 triple, and when I was 14 I started riding our RX1. I still ride that RX1 to this day and an Apex. A lot of my friends who are in their early 20's who just started learning to ride are just flat out scary to watch..
