I put about 8 miles in marginal snow conditions this morning. I'm coming of a 2002 MXZ 600 so this is quite a change for me.

First off this was very confortable and the rider position was great. After the 15 min warm up I took it pretty easy. Only a few time did I hit 70 mph anf only for a second or two. Like I siad the snow conditions were not good but I had to take it out. Very impressed with the torque and smoothness of the exceleration. It was hard to steer at slow speeds but I think that was more due to the conditions. It seemed a little jumpy at engagement while turning at slow speeds but that was more me getting use to the torgue. My coolant light came on after I let it idle after about 6 miles but went away once I restarted and went out for another quick 2 miles and it never came back. The temp was about 8 degrees F and I never got cold. Warmers did not get hot like my MXZ but my hands did not get cold. All in all I'm impressed and can't wait to get more snow.

You may want to do a search on diluting your coolant. I know that I took about 20oz out of mine and replaced it with distilled water. No problems since.
