Finally got some snow and spent a bunch of time running around the vineyards and farm trails. Coming off a REVX RKT734 big bore, this sled flat rocks. When its hooked up, it pulls like a mod sled, the absolute sweetest power plant Ive ever run, and I cant fathom what a boosted Apex would feel like. The Fox Floats are perfect for those who would be comparing a REVX, Im around 230 in my gear and have left everything but the RA adjuster where the dealer set it. Monoshock feels nice, I think the adjuster is up 6 notches. I was expecting it to be mushier than it is, its plush but firm. The sled does feel heavier than the REV but the positioning lets you throw it around probably as good or better than any sled except the REV that Ive ever been on, its very balanced feeling, for sure needs more carbide than stock for me, but the snows soft so its really hard to get a true assesment of the handling. It doesnt feel tippy to me, but after riding a REV Ive become comfortable with some tippyness so guyes coming off other sleds might get a different sensation, for me the seating position and bars are perfect, I actually feel higher than the REV but the center of gravity feels lower, could be the weight? The gauges are easy to see when on the move and going from sitting to standing doesnt take any effort, but I find myself staying seated even if its rough. As I ripped around I found myself wondering what a GT or Attack feels like cause the RTX really does impress me. I highly doubt there will be many dissapointed Apex buyers, this ride is hot.

Always good to hear positive reinforcement from guys that switched brands. Especially Doo guys who are used to the big bump ride quality of the rev.

Right on TT, we got about 4" and my wifes out of town, so I have no one to watch my daughter while I go for a rip on my GT, but I will let you know. I was waiting to here for a report from someone who has not owned a previous Yamaha. It's all good...
