First Snow!

We got about 12 inches yesterday, so I finally got to take the sled for a spin around the yard. Found out two things -- it was overheating and generally running like crap (idling down to about 1200 rpm, then killing with the temp light coming on.) And it would kick into reverse, but won't go back into drive without shutting the engine off. I took it to the Yamaha dealer this morning, figured they can get it figured out while I wait for a base to develop. Has anybody else put any miles on yet? Have fun guys!

i put on like 50 miles on my phazer so far. we r getting a storm tonight in ND you guys might get some of that too? anyway check out this vid. its the first time i rode it so i was still getting used to it. I took on a 700 though!!

vteckiller -- Good to see some midwestern 2010 video! They're forecasting up to 10 more inches today and tomorrow, unfortunately I have to try to make it 400 miles south with my son for thanksgiving, so we'll be braving the highways this afternoon, and I'm sure my neighbors kids will have everything good and tracked up by Sunday night when we get back. Yamahas -- if your question was directed towards me, I've got 1800 miles on it. My Yamaha extended service plan is good til January 2013 so I'm not too worried, and the dealer in Bemidji has been real good with warranty work. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
