I sprayed my Nytro tonight. As soon I hit the button it bounces off the rev limiter. My AFR is not consistent. Is there a fuel cut at the rev limiter.
I set the fuel dial to the recommended 1 full turn out for the 45hp shot. My AFR floated from 12-13.5. So I turned it more and more and more and my afr is still not rich. I saw a couple 11.5s but it was still all over the place
My fuel dial is probably 2.5 turns out.
I hit it about 10 times no more then 3-4 seconds at a time.
Maybe the fuel pump can't keep up. Is the rev limiter screwing up the ability to keep a consistent afr.

I don't think it's a fuel pump issue. My 75 shot is fine. Actually had trouble getting it lean enough. What are your AF readings off the bottle?
You may want to add tip weight to your primary before doing anything. Bouncing off the rev limiter isn't good. I thought you were going to raise your rev limiter? Did you do that?

try taking it for a rip with the bottle off. and hit it (fuel only) it should go pig rich. then I would check to make sure nothing on the fuel side is clogged up. pull the air box lid and tap the button with the bottle off and you should see a good amount of fuel being dumped in to the throttle body's. hope this helps

I can't raise my rev limiter until I get my rb3 back. I should have it back later this week.
It does go rich when I hit it with the bottle turned off but not a rich as I thought, Maybe something is plugged. I'll pull the airbox again tonight.
I'm a little lean off the bottle. Afr is 13.0, I'm going to add more fuel to get it to 12.8.
Does anyone know if the rev limiter is a fuel cut or if its an ignition cut?
How many turns out is your fuel dail for the 75 shot ?.
I'm not sure if it matters but I have the older 2 soleniod kit.

I also have an older 2 solenoid system, but I have Barry's latest fuel valve.I know there are several styles and mine must be quite different from yours. Mine is set at about 7/8th turn out and barley seeing 11:1 AF. Instructions say about 3/8th turn out for 45 shot. That won't help you much.
I think the rev limiter may be your biggest issue. I know in another thread you were trying to raise your RPMs to be spot on off the bottle. Without raising the rev limiter, this will never work.

I'm definitley not going to try and raise my rpms now. I think I'm going to add a gram or 2 of wieght and raise my rev limiter up a couple hundred rpm.
I too think the rev limiter is causing most of my problems. I'm not sure why my AFR only drops 2.0 with the bottle turned off.

I added 1.5 grams of wieght to the tip and now I'm revving 86-8700 off the bottle. The machine seemed to pull alot harder before, but its was hard to tell with all the fresh powder.
I went to hit the button with the bottle off to see how rich my afr would be and no change. Somehow my fuel dial vibrated itself closed. I'm glad I checked before opening the bottle. I'll try again tomorrow to tune it. My RB3 should be back from Powderlites.
