Now that we finally figured out that we had a bad engine charge tube and got the warrior running right its time for some testing.
Yesterday I put about 10 miles on the sled testing it on a 1.25mile strip as well as the lake. Its stupidly fast!! Right off the bottom end it feels on par with a stock rx warrior or maybe even a little more sluggish but as soon as that boost hits (in about 1-2 seconds) the thing is crazy. From a roll on start it just takes off and is gone. I did however notice that it burnt through alot of gas.
I took my stock RX-1 that was dead even with the warrior last season to the same strip. I could just get 103mph (best out of 3 passes) on my speedo. I took the warrior down the same strip and touched 127 mph on my second pass. 123 and 121 on the other two passes. This was in mid day sun, on meally snow, on a trail thats not groomed with some bumps. Im very impressed with these numbers.
The only problem im still having is getting the end cap and plastic to line up with the exhaust outlet. Right now we dont have an exhaust cap on that side because it wont fit. I tried tweeking the exhaust outlet up but it wont stay and im not reefing any harder on it I dont want to break anything.
