Make sure!!!!! You have the stock slide springs in the carbs mine will not run with anything eles!! 50 psi and they dont open?? Something way wrong there.
Skydog P.S. I have fixed a few that had the soft spings in there.

This sled was just serviced and my buddy said when he put it on the trailor to bring to my shop before we even started the turbo installation he didnt think it ran right. He just paid our local yamaha stealer over $600 for a carb cleaning and a new battery. Is it possible that something in the carbs is messed up. I talked to justin and he said 8-10lbs of air in the slide vent lines should open the slides but mine dont lift until I have about 50lbs of air into the line and then they dont open even the two on the oil tank side open to the top before the two on the clutch side but all my connections are tight.
Pull the caps off the top of the carbs and make sure the little black o-rings are in place. If they're missing, it won't matter how mych pressure you put in, the slides will not open.

Im not sure about the fuel regulator how do you check it?? When I hit the throttle I can build about 2lbs of boost then it dies and spits and sputters. I have tightned every connection on the system. I found some possible leaks but fixed them all the first time through. I have been through the entire system 2 more times since then and can find nothing wrong. How do I see if the fuel regulator is set correctly?? I called Justin and left a message a little while ago. I have been in contact with him through out this process.
Yes, gas will spit out like that, but NO it does not mean your tees are not leaking. You are definately not getting enough fuel. Here are the most likely causes.
1) Your tees are leaking. If they are not leaking now they will later. Just get the aluminum ones now.
2) Another leak somewhere else.
3) No jet in hte pitot tube, or one that is WAY to big. What do you have in there? Also check the weld around the pitot tube, I have seen these break.
4) Improper hose routing. The float bowl pressure should be coming from the pitot tube. The slides should be getting their boost signal from the airbox/intercooler as should the fuel regulator.
5) Kinked fuel line. I once had a similar problem and could not find the problem. After looking at the sled 50 times with air box off, rejetting etc, I realized that when I installed the airbox the fuel line from the pump to the carbs was being kinked when the air box was installed. So using a good light check under there as best you can with everything installed.
6) Mis-adjusted or broken fuel regulator. The static pressure should be about 5 lbs. The means without out the sled even running if you power the pump you should be getting 5 lbs of fuel pressure. If you then add air pressure to the fuel regulator The fuel pressure should always stay 5lbs above the air pressure. ie if you add 3 pounds of air pressure to the regulator then the fuel pressure should be 8.
7) Do you have the original fuel pumps removed and or blocked off with the provided valves? Is the electric one running for sure?
I might suggest you take some pictures of your hose routing etc. Maybe those that are familiar with the Bender setup would see something.

I know this sounds too easy, but do you have the pitot jet in the correct location? Under the charge tube, not in the extra jet holder on top of the charge tube.
Also, while you have it back apart, add a second line from under the intercooler to the rear of the carbs. That way you have one line to each pair of carbs.

ITS FINALLY RUNNING!!!
It was the engine charge tube. I dont know whats wrong with it but through process of elimination We ended up putting a 190 jet in the pitot and it inproved it greatly. I took the charge tube for my rx-1 kit and put it on This sled and it took right off. To look at the tube it looks fine but there must be something wrong with it. I talked to Justin and he said he has had a couple that for some reason wont run. Gunna take it to the lake to test tomorrow.
