2003 RX-1
I bought my 2003 RX-1 this past June and have been waiting to ride it for what seems like forever...
The original owner took care of the short comings of the early RX-1's with a raised boss seat, M10 rear suspension, wider dual carbide front skis. He also added a heel kicker clutch kit, powder coated the front suspension, and added some billet aluminum bling. It runs great, and has 4200 miles.

We had a 1 1/2" of wet heavy the other day and I could not resist taking a blast in the bean field behind the house for a few minutes today. Wow is all I can say!! I come from 600-700 sleds from the early 2000's, and this 4 stroke is so smooth and powerful I am hooked for life! Can't wait to head to northern Wisconsin/ the UP and really get some miles on.

Good for you you'll enjoy it, with your mods they are great machine.

I had one loved it! Very fast ,just don't get it stuck...lol

That should be an awesome sled with those mods. I want to to do some of those mods myself over time.

Congrats! Rode a 2003 RX-1 for the first time yesterday myself, and am negotiating to buy it now. Longer track than you have...but a beast on the trails for sure. I did have some issues with over-heating, but with the scratcher down, it didn't overheat again. Seems that it must get a riser kit asap so you can ride it standing up....otherwise it's a sit down all the way. Also needed suspension....barely had any give at all through the bumps.....that sucked....coming from a dirt bike background....this was 90% trail....but the motor is sweet. Gonna look at risers, and suspension kits.....see how much $$ this is gonna take.
