Hi all new member from Maine. Just bought 04 Warrior and made the haul to Madawaska ME for 1st ride. Trails from Madawaska to Caribou were great. 7:30 am and -9°f. and the trails are freshly groomed and uncrowded. I really like the sled. I read a lot about it, good and bad, before purchasing. I will put new bushings to tighten front and new carbides or skis to prevent darting. I will also be putting in m10 or m20 skid. There was only about 20 miles of rough trail, but that was enough to know no-action isn't going to cut it. One question I have for you folks is what do you recommend to help with pushing in corners. I noticed I really had to keep on the throttle to prevent pushing. There's a little inside ski lift as a result, but that seems to put enough pressure on outside ski to limit push. Thanks

Team Fast skids are great! I would highly recommend the M20 with an on-board compressor...you will thank yourself many times over!I will also be putting in m10 or m20 skid.
A 136" mono skid with custom calibrated shock would be another great option...more economical too! This is a nice upgrade that can easily be installed in a weekend, barring no other issues that may need addressed while you're in there.

If you opt for a 136" mono, contact Travis at Barn of Parts.

Also, watch the forums because skids and other miscellaneous items randomly come up for sale by other TY members.
This is a great site with many good people! I've made some really good friends on here!

Snowtrax carbides will eliminate all darting and most of the push. I wish I had these many years ago.

I'd disassemble your front end this summer and check for worn bushings, etc. Once greased and re-assembled, check your ski alignment. Different ski's, etc will not help if your front end needs serviced and/or your alignment is off!

Yeah I already plan to do bushings and any tie rod ends that need replacing.I'd disassemble your front end this summer and check for worn bushings, etc. Once greased and re-assembled, check your ski alignment. al bundy i would reccomend a 12mm or 13mm swaybar if you can find one. really helps with the roll in the corners if it does not already have one.

Al, that would be a good buy if it included the mounting kit for your sled. You would need to buy a mounting kit specific to your sled, which would be about $200. Then, to get the most out of the M20, the shocks should also be calibrated to your sled and your body weight. That would be an additional $100+. That would put your investment up in the $1300 + range.
Right now, Fast has the M20 on special for $1600, which would include the proper mounting kit for your sled, plus it would be calibrated for you!
I could then show you where and how to get an air compressor purchased and mounted in your sled for about 1/3 the price!

Thanks buddy, nice to have info from people who've done a suspension swap already. Ive been on the teamfast website a lot lately and noticed the sale. The $1600 is for 121 skid correct? Think its more $ for 136. I am in no rush to get a skid. I'll keep an eye on the eBay one and see if it sells, maybe make an offer.
In other news, taking one more and probably last trip north this weekend. Thinking Caribou, Madawaska and Fort Kent.

Talk to Fast. The 136 may be $50-ish more.
