flex pipe???

well im waiting for exhaust donuts and my tiny head is pondering. On any two strokes you have springs keeping constant pressure on exhaust donuts. How much if any pressure does the flex pipe Push on donuts to Y pipe. Im thinking of somehow adding/modifing regular 2 strokes exhaust springs so that it would pull the flex pipe toward the y-pipe , and not put the stock exhaust clamp.

Does my (red green) idea have any merit.

i coated each side of the donut with ultra copper.....i believe this will help the wear and tear on the donuts....time will tell.

The exhaust system doesn't have enough GIVE in it to make up for the flexing of the tunnel,and starts working the clamped joints,and the Y pipe mounts. At 8400mi. I noticed the rivits that hold the tunnel to the bulkhead are loose and some have fallen out. I think this is the reason my Y pipes failed and until the tunnel-bulkhead get new rivits it's going to keep reaccuring.
