has anyone used the ski skins on a 08 vector and how did they work for ya. they say they r 7.5 inches. does anyone know how wide the mountain skis are and would they be an easy bolt on.... mechanically challenged...lol

Mountain skiis are a direct bolt on - provided you also buy the spacers and a longer bolt. I tried them on my Nytro but found the steering effort was too high on groomed trails. Off trail they worked as expected. I used them for one ride and switched back to the stock skiis.

I believe the Yamaha Mtn skis are 10" wide..
