I very seriously considering parting out the Apex towards the middle/end of this season and plunking down the $ towards a Viper LTX SE. Im curious what people are paying for these compared to MSRP? Just about everywhere is only showing list prices for the machines. Cheapest I've seen so far was $1150 under MSRP (11,799 for LTX SE)

That to me seems like a reasonable price. I snowchecked mine so my price was cheaper but I can bet that their are some snowchecked prices that aren't much lower than that for the same model. I haven't checked prices at all but once people see these on the trail and get a chance to ride them I have a feeling that the ones that aren't spoken for will be selling fast.

Price
There are so many variables. Like Studroes144 I did pretty good on the spring check. I shopped 6 places 2 Indiana 2 Illinois 2 Michigan. They were all under MSRP. The difference between the most expensive quote and least was $800.00.
BUT I think the price of poker is going up. My dealer has only two left of his own on the floor and I overhead him giving a price to a few customers and it was not far off from MSRP. I don't think there are that many left. I think the Viper production line is done for 14's

12,865 out the door including the extra 48 month warranty. I put 500 down beginning of sept. Also was able to get the 2nd one that arrived (had a little pull at Yamaha, plus not too many snowchecks here).
Our dealer has 3 blue and 2 red LTX SE and I believe they are at $12,000 plus tax license and fees.

If they run our of stock then I'd personally just wait to see what they come out with for 2015, or snow-check a 2015 viper.
I wish we had a decent dealership around here. If its only 800 bucks between dealers, I'd pay the extra 800 if it was a dealership I liked.

Those are wise words Digital. Especially when spring buyers have 5 years warranty. Good dealer is well worth $800 diff.

Do they always offer the discounted 5 year on snow check, or is that only on first year machines?
Phazer was 2 year if I remember right. Can always buy more if you want.

12,600 out the door on the RTX SE
12,800 out the door on the LTX SE (in-stock on floor)

Sounds about right. I would give Steve or Rod a call at Powersports1.com. They would most likely have a descent price and you won't find a better dealership.

Did you buy at U MOTORS? I tried to snowcheck there but he couldn't order me a Rtx, he said he had spoken for all LTX and XTX models already. On the demo ride in DL last spring they had a Rtx and a xtx and between the two I preferred the handling of the Rtx so thats what I ordered. Wish I could have tried a ltx but didn't want to order something that I wasn't able to try. I got mine through revolutions in forks but my service will be all done at U MOTORS I think. I got my Nytro there in 09, wish they would have been able to get me what I wanted.
