ok, I am ditching ski doo rev's for a nytro xtx. The first year of the XTX was 09 right? my question is: should i get an 09, 10, or 11? Like what are the benefits of gettin a 2010 over a 2009? I know manufacturers obviously make things better as new models come out. Should I get an 09 and save myself alot of money or go for a newer 2010 or 2011?

I had preseason snow checked a 10, but when I saw I could save 2500 bucks and buy a left over 09, I bought the 09
The only difference fro 9 to 10 was and is, new graphics, wheels on the suspension and grips. And if ya check there wasn't a big change to the 11. If u can steal a 9, save your duckets and buy that. It's a heck of a lot cheaper to buy the new wheels and pit them on yourself!
I love everything about my 09 xtx.

I have an 09 as well. If you can find one that's a deal, go with it, but you'll have to get a yamaheater for the grips (rather have that than the warmer stockers anyways). As mentioned, wheels, if you want them. Also it's said that the front subframe is stronger on the '10s and '11s, but I haven't had any problems with my '09 subframe. Really can't go wrong with any of them. Probably want to avoid '08 though- sketchy steering. I am very happy with my '09.

The subframe is the front frame of the Nytro, Its the frame that the a-arms and front shocks is connected to. It is known to be a weak link on the Nytro. Not a big deal tough.. I bent mine the first ride of the season but aint planning on changing it before i wreck it even more..

The XTX came in 2009, so either get a 09 or newer XTX. Or buy a 08 and stretch it like i did.

Where are you located? I know of a new 2011 white with red accents for $8,995 plus $95 doc fee.

Nevermind, this one is in the midwest. But that at least tells you how low a dealer can go if you find one out your way.drunkenrich said:i am in shelton, connecticut

Don't get to cought up in the subframe issue , it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. When the bushings wear the back of the upper a arm will start to rub the spring and people get half cocked that the frame is bent.

Don't worry, the 2011 subframe is just as easy to bend as the 2009.
When it dose you'll know.
